Extremely light, strong and modern. That defines the Tecma X-Light, the well-known original carbon-fibre toilet. This carbon-fibre toilet is now also available in lower profile version, the X-Light Short.
The X-Light Short is a result from the market trend towards an increased use and demand for carbon-fiber appliances and product portfolios for all bathroom layouts onboard. The collection of the X-light from Tecma, the sanitation brand of Thetford Marine, started with the X-Light toilet and X-Light Bidet. This series is now extended with a Short toilet version, to perfectly match all kind of sizes of bathrooms on board, with or without step. The X-Light Short is extremely light-weighted and has a maximum rigidity thanks to the top quality pre-preg carbon fiber. An advanced post cure treatment is applied, to guarantee the best structural integrity and aesthetic. While the basic color is the black ‘carbon’ look and a white bowl, a large range of other colors is available upon request.
The weight of the bowl is only about 2 kg, which with the other components, produces a toilet of less than 7 kg in weight, some 19 kg lighter than most traditional models. The well-known and proven macerator technology is also applied at the X-Light Short. So, performance guaranteed.
