New submersible stainless steel grey water transfer system, the Tecma Sanisplit NKS. Above or below sealevel, now Tecma can offer a solution for any position onboard if it comes to grey water transfer systems.
The Tecma Sanisplit NK is well-known in the marine market for its performance and unique patented Split System. Based on this success and proven technology, Thetford Marine is proud to announce that Tecma has extened its product portfolio with the stainless steel Sanisplit NKS. The Tecma Sanisplit NKS is explosion proof and submersible, IP67 rated, which means that this product is perfectly suitable for waterproof installations. The Sanisplit NK (above sea level) and the Sanisplit NKS (below sea level) are complimentary and the perfect combination to join our range of onboard grey water transfer systems.
Strong and silent
‘We see a growing demand in grey water systems to offer more flexibility on board in placing/ locating the appliances like a dishwasher, a washing machine anywhere they like. Therefore the submersible Sanisplit NKS is a valuable addition to our portfolio’, states Gianluca Silvestri, Business Unit Manager. The new product meets the demand with a maximum vertical lift up to 10m/ 36ft. The silent pump operation combined with the internal rubber tank, reduces the noise level.
Safety first
As the grey water system Sanisplit NKS is meant for lower deck hatches or engine room installations, product quality and reliability are key. Therefore the Sanisplit NKS is certified according to ISO 8846:1990. This means that you can install the Sanisplit NKS in these locations because the product is explosion proof. Safety and performance are the essentials of this addition to the portfolio of Tecma grey water transfer systems.
Convenience in case of inconvenience
Another strength of the Sanisplit grey water system is the patented splittable system. The removable part of the Sanisplit NK, which contains the pump and the pressure switch, can be rapidly disengaged from the fixed parts which makes maintenance and service easy. For the Sanisplit NKS this approach remains the same once the stainless steel cover is detached. And still there is no need to disconnect any hose.
