Silence Plus 2G Short

The Silence Plus 2G Short is the short version of the Silence Plus 2G, the ‘big bowl’ model of the Flexi-Line. The short model is designed to be installed on a raising step, usually 10 cm/ 3,9 inches high. For this purpose the height of the ceramic shell is reduced to 36 cm/ 14,2 inches to compensate and match the standard seating height of 46 cm/ 18,1 inches.

This next generation of the Silence Plus 2G Short offers a matching bidet to have the perfect pairing in the bathroom, the Bidet Silence Plus 2G Short.

Flexi 1G produced up to 2016. The former models will remain available, upon request, for replacement. Spares will also remain available for the coming 10 years. Please contact us.

Will the Bidet line of previous Flexi line be discontinued?

Yes, but in addition there will be available perfect matching bidets for Silence Plus 2G, Silence Plus 2G Short, Elegance 2G and Elegance 2G Short. This will even further improve any bathroom design.

How long will the older Flexi models remain available?

Flexi line models (including Saninautico, Prestige, Bidet line (Bidet, Bidet Mini, Bidet Short) will be phased out as standard products during 2016- 2017.

How long will the old Flexi Line spare parts remain available?

Most Flexi Line spares remain valid as either still used on the Design Line models (e.g. discharge hoses) or compatible with new Flexi 2G line. Spare parts will remain available for 10 years.

Is the new Flexi 2G floor fixation system compatible with previous Flexi Line models?

No, the bracket floor fixation on the new Flexi 2G facilitates an easy installation of the new different designs. The kit used is in common with the already existing Design line.

Do I have to make changes before installation in case of refit?

The footprint is the same, so no change required (within ceramic production material tolerances).

Do the Flexi 2G line internal hoses possibly fit with previously installed Flexi line?

No. It’s not possible to replace them on the the old Flexi line models.

Cleaning

Ceramic is suitable for toilet application for the surface high level of hygiene. Use only non abrasive, non-petroleum products to clean the pump. Never use household cleaners,
which can contain bleach. Bleach, strong acid or petroleum-based products can cause irreversible damage to the rubber component of the macerator pump.

Tissue

Tecma is designed to process only toilet paper. Do not use other kind of tissue paper or kitchen paper towel. Thetford’s Aqua-Soft toilet paper is recommended.

Waste

Only human waste and toilet paper should be put in to the toilet. Never flush foreign materials (e.g. paper towels, pre-moistened wipes, condoms, feminine hygene products, dental floss, household garbage, etc.)

Bad odors

If you have bad odours, be sure the smell is really coming out from the toilet. Sometimes the hot environment and the absence of usage could cause the drying of the water in the siphons of shower and sink (smaller than the toilet one). The siphon are used as “water traps”. Once they are dry, a direct connection for the air from the sewage and the bathroom is created. Then you have the bad odor. If the odor is from the toilet it means there is direct connection with the tank. Check that the system is designed properly and that, after use, the toilet remains isolated from the tank with a water trap.
