Tecma – the leading Italian manufacturer of high-end toilets for luxury yachts and renowned for its high-quality macerators, is proud to announce that its latest marine toilet, the Privilege and Privilege Bidet have been awarded the prestigious DAME in the categories ‘interior equipment, furnishings, materials and electrical fittings used in cabins’.
The DAME prize is awarded annually by an independent panel of judges for the best designed product at METS. Tecma’s Privilege was one of the 74 products (out of 166 entries) that was eligible for the important price. The Privilege was nominated and awarded for its unique, innovative product design. The Privilege distinguishes itself from other marine toilets for its distinctive ergonomically designed sloped seat, offering unusual levels of comfort, unparallel in the marine market. The Privilege’s rounded and ergonomically designed bowl – in combination with the square and geometric base – gives this marine toilet a very original and distinctive designer look.
Tecma unveils new corporate identity
On the same day Tecma receives the prestigious DAME award, it unveiled its new corporate identity at METS 2008 – the first significant transformation of the brand since its incorporation in 1991. With the new slogan “”For Marine Sanitary Style, Ultra design and top technology””, Tecma communicates its real value proposition of offering the most sophisticated marine sanitary ware to its customers.
